Oh hey Thursday, what's up?!

How is it Thursday? Where did this week go?!
Is anyone else with me on this?

It seriously feels like Monday!

I guess all this getting ready for baby takes up a lot of time!

I've been back at crocheting this week. I think baby already has a bigger hat collection than I do!

I know if it's a boy the purple won't really work, but I had to do it anyway! I made myself one too!

I've also been trying to teach myself to knit. I've got the idea down, but I think I'm holding the needles wrong. It looks pretty silly when I stop and actually look at how I'm doing it.

My friend got me a What to Knit When You're Expecting book, and I want to make something out of it. So I better keep practicing!

Anyone crochet or knit? Or do both? Which do you like better? Or is it more like some things are better done one way rather than the other?

  1. i don't do either but my mom is a great at crotchet she makes awesome blankets

  2. I prefer crocheting. You can look up knitting on youtube, and there are good videos to show you how.

  6. Adorable. I love to knit and started while I was pregnant too. Must have something to do with growing another human being ;). I need to borrow your book because all I can make are scarves. Unfortunately, I haven't picked up my needles since the kids were born.

I'm a new follower of yours via GFC (http://www.blogger.com/follow-blog.g?blogID=1731204445266420681) and already follow via BlogLovin. Would love it if you linked up to my weekly BlogLovin Hop at Journeys of The Zoo (http://www.journeysofthezoo.com/search/label/BlogLovin%20Hop).

  7. Hey Ameryn, I crochet and knit. I prefer knitting to crocheting quite a bit. I was intimidated by knitting for years so I would just crochet, after learning the basics, I was totally obsessed. I find knitted wear is so much more comfortable and less bulky, and there are a ton of cute knitting patterns. I really recommend www.ravelry.com for awesome patterns! I just finished a little knitted dress for our future little one, and now I'm working on a hooded sweater for her!

Thanks for stopping by!
