Insta-Friday {picture overload}

Hey there!  Remember how I was slacking at life and taking no pictures lately?  Well, I more than made up for it this week!  I've overloaded on Instagram pictures!  Last weekend was super fun, and this week wasn't too shabby either.  So, here we go.  Let me guide you through my week with pictures.

First off, I finally got to wear some of my new thrifted shoes! Love them!

Then I got to hang with this awesome guy. Isn't he the cutest?!

Last weekend was my father-in-law's 50th birthday.  We had a party and all of his brothers and sisters flew out to surprise him.  It was lots of fun.  We did some exploring, played some cards and had some drinks. Good times!

We took the out-of-towners around for a mini tour of the town.  We started with the old railroad bridge, and the creek.  It was so pretty!

They just revamped the creek to get it back to the way it used to be.  I thought they were going to ruin it, but it looks pretty nice now that all the tractors are out!

We stopped off at the community garden to check it out.  How fun are these planters?!

The garden was full of lady bugs! LOVE!

We took a little drive up to 'our spot'

I wish I could say we one that hand.  We got pretty dang close though!

We had one rainy day this week, and the rest were fabulous, so I got some more sun time in after work.

ahhhhh...

oh yeah, did I mention that we got some amazing blood oranges this week?!

 YUM!

Friends and Lovers

Hey everyone!  Happy Valentines Day!  I'm not a huge V-day celebrator, but one more reason to tell someone you love them has to be a good thing. Right?  I'm not going to get all gushy and tell you about how much I love my husband {which I do} I'm just going to share with you my current favorite love song.  Yes, it happens to be by my boyfriend I mean Incubus.  I love this song.  I love this whole album actually.  So, hear you go.  Enjoy.

Insta-Friday & a mini adventure

I'm not sure how this happened, but it's Friday again!  How did this week go by so fast?  and how have I not posted in a week?  Craziness I tell you!

Last weekend we went out on a mini adventure.  We headed out without a plan and had a pretty great day.

It's hard to tell, but that is a cool rock wall-water feature behind us.

We played tourist and walked around checking out cool buildings and whatnot.

Like this water tower.  Isn't it neat?!  A few of Matt's cousins actually worked on this, so it was neat to check it out.

We ended up at a great vegan cafe that neither of us had been to before.  It was super yummy!

We had a very delicious kale salad

and a very fresh and delightful veggie pizza!  If you have never tried broccoli on your pizza, do it!  It was awesome!!!

I have a busy weekend ahead of me {all full of fun things!} I can't wait!

Hello everybody, and welcome to another low key week in the life of Ameryn!
