Our weekend at the beach

We have been having some perfect weather lately!
Add the beach to that and you have an amazing day!
I love having the beach so close, especially when it's so warm and sunny!!!

 


When we got there it was a bit full, so we had to wait a while to get in, hence the dorky awesome 'I'm bored in the car' pictures you are about to see. I don't think there could be a better place to be waiting though!

 Okay, now I'm cute again...

I had no idea I couldn't make a fishey-face! Seriously! Who can't make a fishey-face?

We made it!

So beautiful out there!

I think we're getting the beach bum look down!

So fun! One of these days I might even try to surf myself! Baby steps! We did get an annual pass, so we will be going a lot! I can't wait!

Insta-Friday time!

What a slow week it's been. Nothing too exciting, just the same ol' stuff

Lilly nibbling on the fuzz on her tennis ball. She's a freak.

Took a little drive the other night. 

Made another version of those corn fritters. This one was even easier. Grated squash, chopped onion, cornmeal, garlic, salt and pepper. Topped with avocado of course! 5 minute lunch.

We had a really lazy day this week. It was great.

and another quick lunch! So yummy!

It's been super nice the past few days! I got to get some sunning in!

I think I could get use to being a beach bum

I just got home from such a nice trip.  You know what I did all weekend?...

I sat at the beach!!!  That's it.  It was amazing!  

We went Saturday, and back for more on Sunday!

I got a wee bit of a sun burn on my face, but, it was worth it.  

I even got in a wetsuit and got in the water.  {nope, didn't get a picture}

But it was great!  I swam with DOLPHINS!!!

Well, they were pretty close, I'm counting it as swimming with them!

A seal did pop up right next to us!  Kinda scared me, I'm not gonna lie.

Seal = Shark! lol!

Lilly had sooo much fun!  She totally swam in the ocean!

And then rolled in the sand like a crazy dog!

She's a nut!

It really was a great time!  and so relaxing! Even the loooong drive home wasn't bad.

See, long! { I may have shaved off about and hour though}

Plus, Lilly does make for a pretty cute road companion, which doesn't hurt at all!

 Now I'm back home, counting down the days I get to go back!

I knew just what photo I could share with you all for this.

This is Axle.  We were on a 9 hour drive out to the desert.

He is a good road companion, and he's pretty cute too!
